Months after being heard at BPM festival, the identity of Matthew Dekay‘s “Fangtango” is now revealed. Following recent works such as “Fur die Liebe,” and “Lost in a Moment,” this new release from his Amity EP is yet another phenomenal creation. At a lengthy 12:51, “Fangtango,” is a melancholic journey into emotional depths. Beautifully haunting violin notes create bittersweet drama, backed by a very danceable and forceful bass kick paired with a energetic bongo rhythm. The unique choice of worldly instrumentation and melodramatic overtones make this track a standout.
