2015 is off to a great start, with a ton of sonic goodness being put out by Adriatique, Tale of Us, Alex Niggemann, Solomun and Ame, Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay, Clarian, Nick Devon, Whomi, Hoj, YokoO, The Drifter, Finnebassen, Gab Rhome, Darlyn Vlys, Dahu, Animal Picnic, HearThug, Yokto, and SBTH. As a result of being M.I.A. for over a month in Mexico on a one-way ticket, I’m a bit late compiling my monthly mix collection due to BPM and post-BPM parties/inability and unwillingness to remove myself from prior mentioned parties weeks later/subsequent recovery after grudgingly returning to normality. Really been getting into Finnebassen recently… heard a few good recent mixes from him and this is no exception, quite a few gems in here. Actually have been listening to this on repeat for the majority of the day. The unreleased opening track (Agents of Time?) is just incredible, and Plastikman – EXhale (Dixon’s Just A Different Mixdown Version) is another new one to me. &ME – Blitz (Rampa & Re.You aka RAR Remix) and Terranova – Tourette (David Mayer Remix) are two tracks with really interesting percussion. Two of my personal favourites, Abeer Sheikh, Talal, Zoi & Saqib – Starry Skies and Kiasmos – Looped, are in here as well.
